So here's a question for everyone: What's the point of murdering people? They will just come back. I would imagine it would be such a hassle for everyone involved.
With that in mind, WHY DON'T YOU IDIOTS JUST STOP DOING IT!
Do something constructive for once? Like turn the pent up murdering tendencies on the monsters? Do us all a favor please.
So much wasted potential for making this place more habitable.
Now on to a more pleasant topic. Hello new people! Does anyone need a science/technology class or perhaps a language class to better adjust to this -wonderful- place.
I would like to know how many people need classes, so please, don't be shy! Speak up!

Re: [Locked]
Date: 2009-02-19 05:10 am (UTC)Yes, a while back Sephiroth came to me wondering if I could help at all. I must admit, I would love to investigate the Mako cells once I have a working lab. From what he described, I haven't encountered anything like it before.
Jenova...? Isn't that the name of that being that showed up recently? The one with the eerie poetry?
On that note, would you know how or who I could go to for chip removal? I would very much love to get my lab back.
Re: [Locked]
Date: 2009-02-19 05:29 am (UTC)Mako comes from the Planet's Lifestream. From what I'd heard, any Planet should have it, but that doesn't look like the case after all.
Yeah. That's her. She's extremely dangerous.
...I don't know the doctors well myself, but a teenager named Goten suggested Dr. Weaver.
Re: [Locked]
Date: 2009-02-19 05:33 am (UTC)Yes, Sephiroth mentioned the lifestream before. Admittedly, it was the first I've ever heard of something like that. They only thing I can think of that compares are the Juraian Trees.
So this.. Jenova and Jenova/Mako cells are one in the same?
Re: [Locked]
Date: 2009-02-19 06:22 am (UTC)Trees...? Even plants are part of the cycle.
Mako is the energy source; Jenova cells...they're from her, yeah. She can "talk" to the people with her cells, in their minds. And she wants to have a Reunion to gather the people with her cells.
Re: [Locked]
Date: 2009-02-19 06:34 am (UTC)Mako is an energy? That's interesting to note.
As for the Juraian Tree, they are a sentient lifeform that grow to become living spaceships.
Re: [Locked]
Date: 2009-02-19 06:55 am (UTC)Mako's the most common energy source. Coal was used before that, but it fell out of favor.
Can they...be directed? Or do they... [that's rather weird for Cloud's world, brb wrapping his brain around this.]
Re: [Locked]
Date: 2009-02-19 07:01 am (UTC)Oh? An alternate to Fossil fuels? Interesting.
The trees? Of course! They are connected to whoever they bond to, yet they are capable of thinking on their own.

Date: 2009-02-19 07:33 am (UTC)I see, well, that's why one invents! If you don't take the initiative and take the first steps, you will never reach your goal! Trust me, Space exploration is worth it!
Re: [Locked] ^.^
Date: 2009-02-19 07:39 am (UTC)Maybe the program will be started up again. [Too far from the Planet for Cloud to be enthusiastic.]

Date: 2009-02-19 03:53 pm (UTC)Mako's been in use for...about half a century. . The problem is it comes from the Lifestream keeping the Planet alive--Midgar has eight reactors, and it's nearly impossible to get any green growing within city limits. But to most people, it's just seen as a power source.
[Cloud's guesstimate of mako use based on this timeline (http://thelifestream.net/final-fantasy-vii/107/complete-timeline-of-the-compilation-of-ffvii/). I figure he's so used to it being around that he's never really thought about its discovery, so he doesn't recall the specific year.]
Re: [Locked] ^.^
Date: 2009-02-19 06:41 pm (UTC)How do the reactors work?
Re: [Locked] ^.^
Date: 2009-02-19 07:07 pm (UTC)The reactors draw the Lifestream from out of the ground and refine it to produce pure Mako. Once it's used, it's gone--like oil.
