I really hate it when my test subjects disappear. Really, how can a good scientist carry out her research when the very things she's playing with get taken away from her? Is there no consideration for my work!

[There's a long suffering sigh and the sound of tools.]

But Little Washu, you have the other one!

[There's another pause and the sound of tools being set down. Soon enough there's a soft, almost devious chuckle.]

You're right. I think it's time I pay some of my favorite playmates a visit.

[Moments later, there's the sound of a door closing.]

[She automatically takes the package and blinks a little. She wasn't expecting to get a gift for doing her job as it were. She smiles gently.]

[remember that discussion they were having about socks? there are totally socks in here. purple and red sets, along with a small little paper folded up with tea leaves inside.]

The tea comes with a condition; you must let me brew it for you sometime. If you'd like, I will bring Abel, as well. He seems fond of you.

[Oh she remembers that. She can't help but be amused with the socks. Of course, she needed them anyway so she really didn't mind.

The tea surprised her. She inclined her head a little as she picked it up to get a better look at the neatly folded paper. Good tea was hard to find in this place.]

I would like that very much. It's really been too long since I saw little Abel, how is he doing?

He's doing very well, lately. He's recently joined me at the Gohl from where he had been staying at the high school.

[She nodded, pleased that they were both happy. It reminded of herself many, many centuries ago. Once upon a time. She chuckled softly. She really must be fond of that boy if she felt this motherly all of a sudden.]

Good. Then I will have to make time to come over for tea when he's all settled in. My lab is hardly a place for a social occasion.
