[Com clicks on and there's the sound of something crashing to the floor and some soft swearing]

That didn't work.

[sounds of metal clinking together can be heard and then something hitting a wall]

I'll fix that later. .....

Oh? What's this? When did this thing turn on?
It looks like things are quieting down. It's time to start working on setting up the classes again. If people are still interested.
If anyone needs me, I'm in my apartment.

[com clicks off.]

"Now that is a tough question. I suppose that the answer would be defined by your sense of ethics and the reason's you have for creating such a device and whether or not you think it is right.

"I know why I'm doing it. But will the benefit of the system be worth the cost? Messing with continuity isn't the domain of mankind, I know that much," she reasoned with herself, letting out a heavy sigh.

"But I've seen what happens. I've seen a world completely destroyed."

She remained silent for a bit. "Only you can make that call."

She chuckled softly. "I built weapons capable of destroying planets for my own amusement. Saving and taking lives only further my knowledge." She shrugged slightly. "I'm probably not the best to ask on moral issues....."

"That's the thing. I think... I think you're the sort of person that can see past that ethical barrier. I need that kind of input to know that I'm doing the right thing."

She paused and arched an eyebrow for a moment. " Are you gaining knowledge from this experiment? Science is the discovery and advancement of our understanding of the universe. If you are accomplishing that, then yes It's worth it. The added plus is possibility of saving lives and preventing a future that shouldn't happen. I would consider that a byproduct of the invention."

She shrugged slightly. "That is my scientific opinion with disregard for ethics."

Gaining knowledge? She supposed that was the part she still needed to figure out. Outside of a better future, what would mankind really gain from such a thing? Well... she had plenty of time to think about it in Discedo, at least.

She folded up the notes and began the process of putting them away. She didn't speak a word.

She fell silent as she wathed her friend gather up her notes. Her head tilted to the side curiously as she watched and suddenly smiled. "I hope I was helpful~!"

"Yes, Washu... thank you," she responded, turning to the other woman with a soft smile of her own.

Washu nodded to herself as her smile grew into a grin. "Wonderful~! Feel free to ask me anymore questions that require my genius or lack of ethics anytime~!
