[The sudden grip startled the scientist, making her cry out softly as the dark chuckle reached her ears. For a moment, Washu felt fear. Something she wasn't accustomed to feeling. After all.. there wasn't much in this city that could harm her.

After a moments hesitation Washu twisted in her grasp, managing to summon a partial shield to shock Seras... of course, it wasn't nearly as strong nor consistent as she wanted. Hopefully it would be a big enough deterrent as she jabbed her elbow into the other woman's stomach.]
