Experiment 25 [audio: English]

-BZZZTT!!-

Ouch! Is it that time again?

[there's the sound of fumbling and the movement of cloth]

I guess it is.

Whoever created these communicators had a twisted sense of humor. Or they were psychologists wanting to run their own tests on classical conditioning. If one shocks a subject enough,in theory, they will learn a behavior to avoid the consequence. In this case, they may be conditioning us to use the communicators more with the consequence of being shocked if we don't.

[com times out after a few moments of silence.]

You know, I never really put that much thought into it.

Neither did I until recently. The shock from the communicator got me questioning as to why they set them up to do it.

I wouldn't call it unrealistic to believe that every single piece of information shared on these devices are recorded and stored.

[identity profile] madwashu.livejournal.com 2009-05-13 08:08 pm (UTC)(link)
Of course. As I've stated before, this whole thing could be a giant social experiment. Recording and storing the information gathered by the devices would be a terrific way of gathering data on the test subjects.

...Makes me glad that the thing we discussed was off the record.

[[ She's referring to FATE, not her crush on Aigis, lol ]]

Of course. I doubt they have a way to record items discussed off the communicators. To do something on that scale, they would have to have the entire city wired. If that were the case, someone would have noticed by now.

[lol yeah. ]

Not to mention if they had the means to do that, logically they would not need us for as much as they claim.

[identity profile] madwashu.livejournal.com 2009-05-15 06:07 am (UTC)(link)
Exactly. Hence why the theory of this being a giant social experiment seems to be more and more plausible.

[identity profile] daddyslilpyro.livejournal.com 2009-05-15 09:26 am (UTC)(link)
But after all of that recent activity, I have to wonder...

[identity profile] madwashu.livejournal.com 2009-05-15 06:15 pm (UTC)(link)
....I've been thinking about that.

If whatever it was that happened here, was an experiment of some sort, similar to the one we are in.... The possible ending doesn't reassure me...

I wish I knew more of what happened here previously....

Same here, but archiving any bit of information has been difficult at best. It seems we have a lot of individuals working to the same goal but doing so independently of one another.

If we could combine our efforts...

[identity profile] madwashu.livejournal.com 2009-05-15 07:09 pm (UTC)(link)
...We may be able to compile a working database.

Perhaps we should contact the other individuals that are working towards a similar goal and propose this idea to them?

Shall you do the honors or shall I?

Actually... I feel like there's some quality time I owe to someone special first.

Ah~! Have fun~!
